Moving sequence initiated 0

As Kristi said yesterday, Lift is “flying the coop”. We’ve moved into a new office on Whyte Avenue. The day before moving I had a brilliant idea: to do a time lapse video of moving day. I also remembered that my recently purchased Nikon D300 has a time lapse feature! So, after successfully remembering to bring the camera (and, just as importantly, the tripod), I set everything up in the corner of the old office and camera did the rest. We decided to shoot a frame every 10 seconds base on our previous experience with time lapse photography: none. In the end it came together very nicely. Here it is, with a few select frames frozen so you can fully appreciate them.

The frame that’s frozen in the middle is us trying to pull our concrete table out of it’s grooves in the carpet. There’s no way you can understand how heavy that table is… I figured it deserved an extra half a second in the video.

I’ll have a video of the unpacking process up soon!
