Overview
AUPE is Alberta’s largest union with workers in occupations that include clerical, nursing, social services, trades and maintenance, and technical work.
Objectives
The existing version of the AUPE site had become outdated and difficult to maintain with a primitive archival system and a growing set of supporting web properties. Our aim was not only to update the appearance and usability of the site, but also to provide a more full featured, flexible CMS that would allow AUPE to manage all their web initiatives from one place.
12 years of news archives, hundreds of photos and a dozen committee sites are now living under one elegant design powered by a flexible enterprise CMS.
Outcome
With the help of AUPE‘s experienced communications team, we were able to produce a site design that everyone is proud of. Additionally, the customized enterprise CMS that we delivered has allowed AUPE to better manage the large volume of news and media that they produce.
